Day 1 : Leh to Sarchu

Distance: 250kms/ 8hrs

The drive from Leh to Sarchu was a long and tiring one interspersed with tar roads in some areas and no roads in others. After a specifically bad stretch we were glad when the road condition improved from Gata Loops till Pang. From Pang, it is more of an off-roading experience till just before Sarchu. There is a tar road just as you reach Sarchu. Watch the video for a detailed account of the entire route.

Night Halt at Sarchu Camp:

Limetrails shares a fun filled evening at the GoldDrop Adventure Camp which was a great experience. We made new friends from Kolkata who were on their way to Leh. With the strumming of an ukulele, we sang Kishore Kumar songs late into the night. It helped keep the biting cold away! So all of you planning a trip to Leh Ladakh should definitely watch this video and don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE for all my upcoming videos.

Day 2: Sarchu to Manali

Distance: kms/ hrs

Here’s the last stretch of the Leh-Manali road trip from Sarchu to Manali via Baralacha La Pass and Rohtang Pass. Watch the deadly drive from over the treacherous Pagal Nala near Bharatpur and followed by the ascent to the formidable Baralacha Pass. So anyone planning a trip in Ladakh should definitely watch this video right till the end.

After a back breaking jolt ridden bumpty drive up Rohtang, boy were we glad to finally be back in Manali !!
