Matheran viewpoint

Matheran – Developed by the British, Matheran at an altitude of 800 m asl, Matheran is the smallest hill station in Asia. It is located 120 kms (3 hours) from Pune and 90 Kms from Mumbai. It is an Eco-sensitive and pollution free zone. Hence vehicles are allowed only upto Dasturi and the remaining distance has to be covered by foot, on horseback or toy train.
